**During this two-week time period that we are studying Social Studies, you may notice that the practice workbook pages listed below are not written in your child's agenda. The workbook pages are intended to be classwork only. The assignments in your child's agenda are homework only. Sometimes, if your child did not finish their classwork, they may take home the classwork and finish it at home and turn it in the next morning.

Monday, November 9- We read Chapter 6 lesson 1 in class. Homework is practice pages 28, 33, 34 to be turned in on Tuesday. We will go to Computer Lab to work on Colonies powerpoints. We will work on our flipbooks about the colonies.
Tuesday, November 10- We will check homework pages and read Chapter 6-Lesson 2 in class. Homework is practice book page 35, 36, 37 due Wednesday. We will go to Computer Lab to work on Colonies powerpoints. We will work on our flipbooks about the colonies. They are due today. Flipbooks will serve as a study guide for our test on Friday.
Wednesday, November 11-We will check the homework. We will read and discuss lesson 2. We will work on a flip book of the colonies. We will go to the computer lab to complete powerpoints. All powerpoints are due today and will be shown to the class. During the powerpoints students willl complete charts and this will also serve as a review.
Thursday, November 12-SEM/TAG Day. We will complete all assignments and review for the test that is on Friday.
Friday, November 13- Jeopardy Review made especially for Mrs. Middleton's class. Social Studies Test over chapters 5 and 6.
*The Test over chapter 5 and 6 will be November 13. The study guide is your child's flip book. Please review with your child.
Monday and Tuesday, November 16 and 17- Students are presenting their one-of-a kind creative powerpoints to the class. They were assigned one region of the 13 colonies and topics to present.
